The Radio Silence, it is deafening
For those of you following along at home, I’m sorry there hasn’t been much going on at the blog lately. I haven’t been tweeting very much, either.
I’ve been busting my butt on several writing projects with deadlines that are extremely *&%@ing nigh, as they say. The Day Jobbe has also been demanding of late, with firm (but fair) deadlines of its own.
And there’s been dentistry.
But not to worry, the Ink Gorilla is still here, and being this busy with fun projects* is a good problem to have, right?
*fun, except the dentistry part.
Things accomplished in lieu of the blog:
- a brand spanking new short story that’s just about ready to send out (I’m really excited about this one)
- some nonfiction stuff (more on that soon)
- revisions on other stories (and some submit/rejection cycles)
- Christmas Cheer (Which is harder than it looks when there’s dentistry in the offing** )
** To clarify: me going to the dentist, not me practicing dentistry.
I must say though, in general 2010 has been a fantastic year. One of the best in my life. All of you reading this blog have contributed to that in some way, and for that I’m profoundly grateful. Look for more formal end-of-the-year posts before 2010 is actually over. (And more cocktails, of course!)
