Happy Friday: Updates
Just a few updates from the Ink Gorilla before the weekend:
Nerds!
It’s been a hectic couple of weeks with fiction writing and the day job, so the blog hasn’t gotten as much love as I like to give it. But I’ve got a new Booze Nerd post up over at The Functional Nerds, though — all about one of the most classic of cocktails: the Martini. Patrick Hester has also made available for a limited-time only, the awesomely official “Booze Nerd” T-shirt. Get yours before they’re gone!
Speaking of the Functional Nerds, the team has really grown over the last few weeks. In addition to the great podcast John and Patrick do, we’ve also got a Comics Nerd, a Review Nerd, a Fitness Nerd, a Music Nerd, a Food Nerd, and a lot more Nerds on the way. Kind of a one-stop shop, really, for all your geek-out needs.
Khaaaaaaaaannnnns!
I mean, “Connnnnnns!”
I’ll be attending World Horror Convention at the end of April, so If you’re going to be there, please come say hi! Several of the Rigor Amortis crew will be there as well, and I believe there will be some sort of reading/signing event. Stay tuned for details.
Right now, the only firm plans for con events are World Fantasy Con in San Diego. I have tentative plans to try and make San Diego Comic Con in July (probably day tripping it), and have decided to try and make World Con in Reno if I can. Still a lot in play for that, but I really hope to be there!
TEEEEEETHHH!
Tomorrow, Saturday, April 2, Ellen Datlow and Nancy Holder will be signing new books at Dark Delicacies in Burbank (Teeth and The Screaming Season). I’ll be there (along with several other good folks I know). If you like horror, you should be too.
Have a great weekend!
